Challenges:
Our client contracted to deliver significant piping modifications for an FPSO redeployment. Facing capacity gaps in the areas of piping design, analysis and modelling, plus risk of impact to the overall schedule, they turned to SWAX for cost effective support in the project delivery.
Scope:
Using the P&IDs SWAX developed the 3d Model from scratch in Plant 3d. Then developed specifications for the model, generated line numbers, tag numbers and performed clash checks with the existing structure, equipment, etc. This included modifications to the pipe routing, adjusting existing valve supports, and adding new supports. Finally, SWAX generated the isometrics, iso book, and piping MTO.
Benefits/Business impact:
